The 2007 Armed Forces Bowl took place between the California Golden Bears and the Air Force Falcons in Fort Worth, Texas, with Cal winning 42-36.

First quarterEdit

The Bears would drive into Air Force territory to start the game, but Justin Forsett was stopped on 3rd and 1 and were forced to punt. Air Force would strike, driving 87 yards in 9 plays and under 4 minutes to take a 7-0 lead on a Shaun Carney 1 yard rush.

Nate Longshore would again drive into Air Force territory, but the drive would stall and Longshore's attempt on 4th and 16 fell incomplete.

Second quarterEdit

After Air Force scored to make it 21-0, Kevin Riley was inserted into the game replacing Nate Longshore. He would lead the Bears down the field on their final two drives of the half to the end zone behind touchdown passes to DeSean Jackson and Lavelle Hawkins, makng it 21-14 into half. Coach Jeff Tedford would later state that "we decided to ride the hot hand." at quarterback.[1]
